The trees are finally budding after a long winter, as folks dive into spring cleaning and yard work. A group of CMU students returned to the isle again this year to do some outdoor clean-up as well, brightening the public beach and campgrounds – and later enjoying a pizza party and movie offered by the Community Center in appreciation for their hard work. Another appreciative soul was visiting toddler Jonah, who came in for his Name of the Day reward.

At 7:00 PM is the beloved classic The Princess Bride, in which a bedridden boy’s grandfather reads him the story of a farm boy-turned-pirate who encounters numerous obstacles, enemies and allies in his quest to be reunited with his true love. Concessions available and donations appreciated.
