Last week’s blizzard had us closing the BIC Center on Saturday, but we’re back in full swing this week with plenty of great activities to get you in the door!

At 10 AM Tuesday in the Hangout the COA holds it’s second installment of Cardio Drumming, which brought in several energetic drummers last week for a dynamic cardiovascular workout that combines drumming, rhythm, and music to improve cardiovascular health, lower blood pressure, and reduce stress and anxiety. Later on Tuesday at 6 PM is another round of Let’s Get Quizzical, our Trivia night with awesome prizes and brain-stumping questions. The game is free, but reserve your team of 6 at store.biccenter.org.

Time for Art on Wednesday at 5 PM has guest teacher Lois Stipp covering acrylic painting, the first of two consecutive sessions she’ll be leading, so participants are encouraged to attend both. This class is limited to 12 – register ahead of time by phone or at the front counter.

Saturday at the Movies leads with a 4 PM showing of the DreamWorks animated comedy-adventure Trolls, following the escapades of a family of trolls who set out to rescue their kidnapped brother and reunite the family. At 7 PM is the 2023-release Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes, in which Coriolanus Snow mentors and develops feelings for the female District 12 tribute during the 10th Hunger Games. Concessions available, and donations appreciated.

Come in out of the cold this week to take in these offerings at your Community Center !
