This Privacy Policy governs the manner in which the Preservation Association of Beaver Island (“PABI”) collects, uses, maintains and discloses personal information collected from users (each, a “User”) of the website www.biccenter.org (the “Site”). This Privacy Policy applies to the Site. It does not apply to other services or products offered by or through the Site. PABI and the BIC Center operate facilities in the State of Michigan in the United States of America. Although we make a reasonable attempt to comply with the requirements imposed by other states and countries, we only operate in Michigan and do not by these efforts agree that any such non- local requirements apply to our operations. This Privacy Policy is a disclosure of the practices we intend to follow in using your personal information. It is not an agreement.
Personal identification information
We may collect personal identification information from Users in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to, when Users visit our Site, register on the Site, subscribe to a newsletter or blog, respond to a survey, fill out a form, and in connection with other activities, services, features or resources we make available on our Site. Users may, however, visit our Site without submitting such personal information. PABI collects and uses Users’ personal information for the following purposes:

We may use information in the aggregate to understand how our Users as a group use the services and resources provided on our Site.

We continually strive to improve our Site offerings based on the information and feedback we receive from you.

If User decides to opt-in to, or not opt-out from, our mailing list, they will receive emails or texts that may include news, updates, requests for donations, related product or service information, etc. If at any time the User would like to unsubscribe from receiving future emails or texts, we include unsubscribe instructions at the bottom of each email or the User may contact us via our Site.

The Site is not designed to process sensitive information other than payment information. The Beaver Island Community Center (“BIC Center”) website is offered to you conditioned on your acceptance without modification of the notices, liability limitations and disclaimers contained herein. Venue for Resolution of Disputes
Any dispute concerning the BIC Center Website that is not informally resolved shall be brought only in the state courts in Charlevoix, Michigan and federal courts in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
